Our client who specialises in medical device equipment is looking for an individual with experience in medical sales or a clinical environment with a competitive drive and relentless energy to make an immediate impact. The company 

Our client continues to discover and launch products for Minimally Invasive Surgery, Neonatal & Paediatric Products, Diabetes Products, Surgeon Powered Robotics and many more throughout the UK and Irish markets. They ensure that patient needs are at the forefront of all their decision making and that their specialist medical equipment and products are supported and developed by clinicians. 

 

The role 

In the role of Territory Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing existing and developing new business by increasing the market share growth of our client’s product portfolio. You will need to have a focused, key account approach as you sell in Surgical and Diagnostics across clinical areas of both public and private hospitals.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving and exceeding sales results in line with the annual sales target 

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the product portfolio 

  • Delivering excellent customer service 

  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Responding to customer issues 

The requirements 

You’ll have 1-5 years of experience, selling medical devices into the NHS, as well as… 

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level  

  • A driven and enthusiastic self-starter with a passion to win 

  • Strong skills in new business development and lead generation 

  • Inquisitive mind and able to adapt to new ways of working 

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Able to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals 

  • Excellent rapport building skills 

  • Able to work autonomously and manage your own diary 

  • Be a professional, dependable, and positive individual 

  • Enjoys working as part of a small progressing team 

  • Willing to go the extra mile to differentiate yourself and the company within the market 

  • Ideally, located in Scotland and willing and flexible to travel across it
