Technology in medicine is moving fast and our client is searching for a talented, highly motivated salesperson to continue to drive growth of our clients’ Foot & Ankle business across Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to create market leading value propositions to both the NHS and private healthcare providers. 


The company 

Our client is a huge blue-chip organisation known across the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic world. They offer innovative products and services to improve patient and hospital outcomes including medical and surgical equipment, orthopaedics, neurotechnology, training and education. 

The role 
As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for accounts across Kent, as well as building and maintaining strong business relationships with key surgeons and HCP’s. You will represent our client as a leader in the industry in this significant and fast-growing territory. 

Other responsibilities include…  

  • Outperforming the market for all Foot & Ankle products in the territory  

  • Meeting all existing customers within the first month and create impact plans to meet challenges and exploit opportunities 

  • Spending quality time in theatres with customers, and deliver staff training 

  • Researching and executing territory specific business plans and strategies  

  • Demonstrating continuous development through a personal development plan  

  • Building strong professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Becoming an expert in the company’s product portfolio  

  • Being customer-focused and bringing value to performance objectives  


The requirements 

You will have 3-4 years’ experience in medical sales, as well as… 

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject   

  • At least 2 years’ experience with orthopaedic implants 

  • Experience working in the Foot & Ankle sector would be advantageous 

  • Strong presentation skills for workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions 

  • Detail-orientated, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment  

  • Able to take ownership of your own work and need no prompting to drive productivity  

  • Able to build cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Valid Driving Licence to cover your territory where appropriate 

This role field-based across Kent. Flexibility with hours and travel is key.
