Job description

Our client is currently looking for a Dispensing Retail Territory Sales Manager to join their team and sell an exciting portfolio of medicine delivery devices in the East of England, Home Countries and East Midlands territory.

We are supporting a role with one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world who is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics, and the delivery of care. They have a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues. 


The role

As Territory Sales Manager you will provide a market leading customer experience and service delivery to your customers within your portfolio. You will be responsible for building relationships with existing accounts, but also seeking new business opportunities to increase the revenue. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of the product portfolio

  • Maintaining and growing business in the territory

  • Planning and executing business strategy

  • Developing your product range and solution offering 

  • Communicating with relevant support functions of all activities and updates

  • Documenting all sales opportunities within the CRM tool

  • Producing accurate and regular forecasts of sales opportunities

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities

  • Working with the marketing to prioritise campaigns and content creation

  • Identifying and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

  • Attending medical conferences, trade shows and events


The requirements

You’ll have extensive experience in the pharmacy environment as well as selling capital equipment solutions into retail pharmacists, as well as…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable

  • Experience selling into retail pharmacies

  • Established network within the industry is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of the changes impacting the structure of the NHS 

  • Experience working with accounts from prospecting through to implementation

  • Strong sales track record in capital sales

  • New business hunter mentality

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills

  • Pro-active self-starter and able to work with a wide network of stakeholders 

  • Strong organisational skill and able to manage a territory

  • You must live on territory ideally in the East of England


This Territory Sales Manager role is field based, with time spent in the office (based in Berkshire) on an ad hoc basis.
