I am seeking a credible sales professional within the medical device industry to support and represent a range of Surgical Energy products.

These products are used within theatres and consist of a mixture of consumable and capital-based products. The main driver for this portfolio is the pure demand and value it has within the NHS at the moment, with one product being recognised as one of the market leaders.

Within this role you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the Surgical Energy products covering the South Coast of England (Brighton, Worthing, Portsmouth and Southampton)

Responsibilities include:
– Demonstrations and after-care of products to medical personnel
– Working within theatres, out-patient units alongside surgeons, specialists, nurses and other medical personnel.
– Carry out meetings with business and procurement managers to help grow your share of the portfolio.
– Account management whilst seeking new business development opportunities
– Deliver excellent customer service to maintain high standards set by the organisation.
– Hit targets and goals autonomously and collaboratively with the surgical energy team. 

To be successful within this role, you must live within the territory outlined. Aside from this, the hiring manager is looking for an individual that is self-motivated, ambitious and eager to progress their career within a well-respected brand.

The requirements

You will live within the designated territory, but aside from this you will also have:

  • A Bachelor degree in life science, Business, or other relevant industries.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience within medical devices.
  • A commercially driven attitude with the ability to establish relationships with medical personnel.
  • Experience gained within a surgical environment is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence – Up to 5 points considered.
