Are you a passionate, enthusiastic, and hyper-organised individual? Our client who specialises in medical device equipment is currently looking for a Territory Manager to join their team and sell an exciting portfolio of surgical devices across Dorset.

The role 

As Territory Manager, you will be selling market-leading surgical devices covering their surgical endoscopy product portfolio, as well as building strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. You’ll also be providing demonstrations of the equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with managers and providing after sales support. 

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for developing existing accounts, as well as seeking new business opportunities to increase the revenue. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Understanding of the product portfolio 

  • Presenting at workshops, exhibitions, and educational meetings 

  • Delivering post sales training and support for new and existing customers 

  • Produce and deliver solutions and value propositions through presentations 

  • Managing the sales lifecycle within the territory

  • Producing accurate and regular forecasts of sales opportunities 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities

  • Identifying key stakeholders for the product portfolio

  • Responding to customer issues 

  • Attending medical conferences and representing the company 


The requirements 

You’ll have 3-5 years’ sales experience within medical devices, ideally focused on surgical sales, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable

  • Experience within a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry 

  • Surgical endoscopy experience is desirable 

  • Experience working with accounts from prospecting through to implementation

  • Strong sales track record and evidence of increasing the value of a territory 

  • Demonstrate robust product knowledge and selling skills 

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong organisational skill and able to manage a territory 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently

  • Focus on personal continuous improvement and development 

  • Able to travel across the UK territory 


This Territory Manager role is field based, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis. When permitted, you will be expected to travel to customers across this territory.
