Are you an energetic self-starter with a track record of success in a surgical sales role? Our client is looking for a Territory Manager to join their team across Staffordshire & Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly innovative company that offers strong progression.

The company 

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly growing, international medical device company. With a product portfolio ranging from urology to general surgery, ENT to obstetrics, they specialise in surgical technologies for minimally invasive surgeries and are known for having a fantastic reputation in the market and offering an excellent training programme and company culture. The company is at a phase of expansion and growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative team and a forward-thinking organisation as they look to dominate the minimally invasive surgical space!

The role 
As a Territory Manager, you’ll join a team of talented sales individuals and develop effective sales strategies that will propel the use of our client’s surgical solutions across your defined territory. You’ll become an expert on the product portfolio to provide quality demonstrations to clinical staff in hospitals and develop trusted, credible customer relationships that lead to the expansion of the sales pipeline. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing the market per product segment to identify key stakeholders 

  • Hitting and exceeding quotas 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 

  • Attending orientation, education, and scrub sessions 

  • Being an active member during company meetings and product training 

  • Representing our client at conferences 

  • Tracking the latest clinical developments and using this information to adapt business strategies 

The requirements 

You’ll have 2+ years of experience in medical sales in hospitals (ideally surgical) with a proven track record of success, as well as… 

  • Degree Educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Comfortable in an operating room environment  

  • Demonstrable experience building strong interpersonal relationships with key clinical individuals 

  • Experience in managing accounts from prospecting through to implementation 

  • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team 

  • High organised and able to prioritise effectively 

  • Positive, driven and results-orientated 

  • Flexible and willing to travel
