The role

This well-known organisation are looking to recruit a Territory Manager within their Industrial division to promote and sell the portfolio throughout the Midlands. Alongside sales, this role involves demonstrating equipment from NDT to Industrial Microscopy, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to for market share for this portfolio. Alongside this, you will be tasked with the below;

• Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customers 
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements 
• Co-ordinating sales projects 
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Recording of activity in company CRM system
• Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings. 
• Work across a wide variety of environments including high end research in academia and the UK Manufacturing quality assurance and R+D facilities within a number of industries including; Automotive, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Electronics 
• Reporting to the National Sales Manager.

The requirements

This can be a physically demanding job with travel across the Midlands therefore please bear in mind you could need to stay away overnight sometimes.

  • Ability to present technical information in a structured and balanced way
  • Previous working experience with RVI, NDT, XRF or Microscopy is desirable
  • Relevant experience in a scientific and /or engineering environment
  • Experience of technical sales ideally within the Automotive, Aerospace or Oil and Gas sector
  • A higher-level education in science or engineering would be an advantage
  • Desire to work in a competitive environment

Candidates with more than 6 points on their driving licence unfortunately cannot be considered.
