With an exciting new product in the pipeline this is an excellent opportunity to join our client as a Territory Manager for the South West and Midlands and lead on this new development.

Our client is a well-respected, unique medical device organisation who specialise in bariatric and GI surgical solutions across the UK and Europe. Focused on improving patient outcomes through their leading portfolio of minimally invasive surgical devices, they are dedicated to revolutionising patient care. With a product portfolio focused on therapies for a range of gastrointestinal conditions, their products are available in countries throughout the world with an impressive reputation for quality. 

The role 

Within this role you will manage the territory across the South West and Midlands and be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets successfully. You will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of the product portfolio to physicians and health personnel.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing a business plan with focus on increasing the usage of the product line  

  • Managing new accounts and expanding existing ones 

  • Communicating clinical features and benefits of the product  

  • Introducing a breakthrough technology to customers  

  • Conducting physician and staff training 

  • Travelling through the territory on a frequent basis to promote the product portfolio 

 

The requirements 

You will have 2+ years endoscopy, MIS, bariatrics, or gastro sales experience, as well as…  

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Significant prior experience in surgical or technical sales 

  • Strong clinical knowledge 

  • Comfortable in an operating room environment

  • New business hunter with a growth mindset 

  • A drive to open new relationships and expanding existing where appropriate 

  • Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office)  

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills  

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Valid driving license and ability to travel across the territory 

  • Flexible and willing to travel between 30%-70% 

This Territory Manager role is field based, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis. You may be required to travel and stay overnight and/or at the weekend)
