Do you have experience in medical device sales and are looking for the next step in your career? We’re currently working with a global healthcare player who are looking for a Territory Manager for their Repairs division in the South East of the UK.

The company

Our client is market leading medical device company who specialist in both infection prevention products as well as surgical and critical care technologies. They are committed delivering the very best in patient-care! Currently focused on increasing their market share in the UK and Europe, you’ll join them at an exciting time and as a Territory Manager you’ll be part of growing the instrument repair business. 

The role

As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for sales activities in your region with the aim of achieving growth and hitting revenue targets. You’ll focus on surgical instrument sales and surgical device repair service sales.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage existing accounts and grow new business in the South East region
  • Meeting and supporting customer base by collecting and delivering instrument repairs
  • Working closely with other business units and teams to identify customer needs
  • Taking orders and negotiating contracts with customers
  • Creating a territory plan to drive your pipeline and reach targets
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers
  • Participating with in territory reviews with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Identifying opportunities to expand customer contracts and new business opportunities
  • Reporting on sales
  • Using sales tools and processes
  • Delivering service excellence to achieve repeat business and growth
  • Attending exhibitions and trade shows


The requirements

You will live within the desired territory, as well as having the following:

  • Strong, demonstrable track record of sales, relationship management and account development in a complex environment – a background in medical devices or healthcare is ideal
  • Experience in driving sales conversations with different types of buyers
  • Flexible approaches to different relationships and sales processes to achieve the best outcomes
  • Experience in complaints/objections handling to achieve positive outcomes
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to maintain these
  • Experience collaborating with teammates
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills
  • The ability to act as an ambassador for a business
  • A customer-centric mindset, focused on values and outcomes
