Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and autonomous environment? Our client is currently looking for a talented and driven individual to join their team as a Territory Manager across the North-West Italy territory.

Our client is a well-respected, unique medical device organisation who specialises in bariatric and GI surgical solutions across the UK and Europe. Focused on improving patient outcomes through their leading portfolio of minimally invasive surgical devices, they are dedicated to revolutionising patient care. With a product portfolio focused on therapies for a range of gastrointestinal conditions, their products are available in countries throughout the world with an impressive reputation for quality. 

The role 

Within this role, you will develop and implement a territory business plan and be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets successfully within the Bariatrics and Gastro product line. You will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of the product portfolio to physicians and build a deep understanding to answer customer product questions in line with the clients’ values and methodology. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Developing a business plan with a focus on increasing the usage of the product line

  • Managing new accounts and expanding existing ones 

  • Travelling through the territory frequently to promote the product portfolio 

  • Conducting physician and staff training and communicating the clinical features and benefits 

  • Attending local and international sales meetings to represent our client and their products 

  • Working with Marketing, Training, and other support functions 

  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures and utilising the CRM system 

The requirements 

You will ideally have 2+ years of Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and/or Bariatrics sales experience, as well as…

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Proven track record in medical/surgical device sales 

  • Strong clinical knowledge and commercial acumen

  • Experience supporting physicians with devices

  • Comfortable in an operating room environment

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and expand existing ones where appropriate 

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Italian-speaking

  • Valid driving license and willing to travel across the territory 

  • Ideally, be based in the Lombardia region

You’ll manage the following territory: Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Val d’Aosta and Sardinia regions.
