Do you want to be a part of an innovative global provider and manufacturer of medical devices? Our client is currently looking for a Territory Manager to join their team in Munich.   

 

The company

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly growing, international medical device company. With a product portfolio ranging from urology to general surgery, ENT to obstetrics, they specialise in surgical technologies for minimally invasive surgeries and are known for having a fantastic reputation in the market and offering an excellent training programme and company culture. The company are at a phase of expansion and growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative team and a forward-thinking organisation as they look to dominate the minimally invasive surgical space!

 

The role

As Territory Manager, you’ll build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with potential and existing customers in the Munich region. You will provide a high level of support and service and work to meet and exceed the expected economic goals.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new ones 

  • Supporting customers in the selection, introduction and use of all products 

  • Regional responsibility for quarterly and annual targets 

  • Organising congresses and training courses for doctors and medical staff 

  • Working closely with the team to plan and create effective business plans 

  • Cooperating with customer services regarding inquiries, offers and orders 

  • Participating in company meetings, product training, presentations, and briefings  
     

The requirements

You’ll have several years of experience in a similar position with a proven track record, ideally in the medical industry or in the operating theatre environment, as well as…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Experience and understanding of technical medical devices

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Fluent in English and German  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office) 

  • Independent and customer-oriented way of working 

  • Ideally live in Munich  

 

This role is field, and home based with frequent contact with the sales team and other colleagues.
