Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and autonomous environment? Our client, a specialist provider of products for the treatment of retinal diseases, is currently looking for an highly motivated Territory Manager to join their team and drive sales across London and the South West.

Our client is a leading provider of innovative products in the eye care space. Providing the very best in patient care across Europe, they have a wide range of products and treatments ranging from dry eye to glaucoma to retinal diseases. Its mission is to offer high-quality products which in turn promote eye health across Europe. By partnering with physicians, medical centres, and hospitals across the ophthalmology space our client can provide both knowledge and products to give patients the very best in eye care.

The role

As a Territory Manager, you’ll support a product portfolio with a focus on the treatment of dry eye and glaucoma, including eye patches, gels, and ointments, as well as diagnostic devices. You’ll manage and develop relationships in secondary care markets, both with existing and new accounts, to support the growth of sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing key account management to existing clients
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Gaining hospital formularies
  • Increasing market share of the product portfolio
  • Providing clinical support for the product portfolio
  • Delivering product training and support
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets

 

The requirements

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling products into secondary care environments and possess an ABPI, as well as…

  • Degree educated in a relevant scientific discipline (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic/eye health products
  • Experience with both repeat sales and new business
  • Experience of taking new products to market is beneficial
  • Confident driving sales through virtual channels
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with a range of clinical customers
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the territory
