Are you an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong will to succeed? Are you looking for a sales position in a market-leading company? Our client is seeking a Territory Manager to join their team in Lancashire and sell an exciting range of surgical products. 

The company 

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly growing, international medical device company. With a product portfolio ranging from urology to general surgery, ENT to obstetrics, they specialise in surgical technologies for minimally invasive surgeries and are known for having a fantastic reputation in the market and offering an excellent training programme and company culture. The company are at a phase of expansion and growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative team and a forward-thinking organisation as they look to dominate the minimally invasive surgical space! 

The role 

As a Territory Manager, you will join a highly talented team of sales professionals to sell our client’s innovative portfolio of surgical products for use within operating theatres. You’ll own the sales strategy within your defined territory, identifying key stakeholders per product and following up on leads. Once you have become a product expert, you’ll deliver quality demonstrations to surgeons, practice staff and nurses across a wide range of clinical settings, positioning the product portfolio as effective solutions for the clients’ objectives. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Establishing strong relationships with both new and existing customers 

  • Attending orientation, education and scrub sessions 

  • Organizing conferences for surgeons and other medical staff

  • Delivering post-sales training 

  • Being an active member during company meetings and product training 

  • Collaborating with the Customer Service team to deliver an exceptional level of customer responsiveness 

  • Tracking the latest clinical developments to maintain a high level of expertise 

  • Hitting and exceeding quotas 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 


The requirements 

You’ll have 2+ years of experience in surgical sales in hospitals with a track record of success, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable  

  • Demonstrable ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers in operating theatres 

  • Experience in managing accounts from prospecting through to implementation, within a national framework 

  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment  

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships 

  • Highly organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the territory
