Do you have experience in medical device sales? Are you ready to take the next step and join a unique leader in its field? Our client is currently looking for a Territory Manager for Belgium to achieve growth across the portfolio. 

The company 

Our client is a well-respected, unique medical device organisation who specialise in bariatric and GI surgical solutions across the UK and Europe. Focused on improving patient outcomes through their leading portfolio of minimally invasive surgical devices, they are dedicated to revolutionising patient care. With a product portfolio focused on therapies for a range of gastrointestinal conditions, their products are available in countries throughout the world with an impressive reputation for quality. 

The role 

Within this role you will manage the territory in Belgium and be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets successfully within the Endobariatric product line. You will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of the product portfolio to physicians and build a deep understanding to answer customer product questions in line with the clients’ values and methodology.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing a business plan with focus on increasing the usage of the product line  

  • Managing new accounts and expanding existing ones 

  • Travelling through the territory on a frequent basis to promote the product portfolio 

  • Conducting physician and staff training and communicating the clinical features and benefits 

  • Attending local and international sales meetings to represent our client and their products 

  • Working with Marketing, Training, and other support functions  

  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures and utilising the CRM system 

The requirements 

You will have at least 2+ years of Bariatric surgery and/or GI sales experience. Other requirements include…  

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Significant prior experience of medical/surgical device sales 

  • Strong clinical knowledge 

  • Comfortable in an operating room environment

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and expanding existing where appropriate 

  • Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office)  

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Valid driving license and ability to travel across the territory 

  • Flexible and willing to travel between 30%-70% 

  • Ideally be based near Brussels, Gent, or Antwerp 

This Territory Manager role is field based, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis. You may be required to travel and stay overnight and/or at the weekend)
