The role 

As Service and Support Technical Trainer you will coordinate and conduct training programmes to ensure customers are competent in the use of surgical robotic systems. You will build a clear understanding of the company’s product portfolio and support the roll out of consistent content and training standards within the territory. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Preparing users with product introduction 

• Planning, developing, and conducting effective training programmes  

• Coordinating the resources for training sessions 

• Conducting technical troubleshooting training for all customer-facing functions  

• Identifying improvements for the training process 

• Preparing training content suitable for practical, remote, or independent learning 

• Maintaining all training records in line with ISO 13485:2016 

• Working in accordance to processes and safety requirements 

• Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

• Supporting the business to achieve annual objectives  

The requirements  

You will be an experienced trainer with exceptional pedagogical skills, as well as…  

• Experience running hands-on technical training 

• Track record of creating and developing professional training content  

• Creative mind with content and competency management through an LMS 

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment  

• Based in Cambridgeshire 

Desirable experience:

• Experience working with electro-mechanical systems or technical educational background 

• Experience working in hospitals or with medical professionals 

• Experience with 13485:2016 

• Operational excellence training (Six Sigma, Lean Management) 

• Full UK driving license
