Job description

Our client is currently looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join their team and optimise the sales of an innovative suite of dental imaging devices. If you hold a combination of sales and marketing expertise with high-level knowledge of the Dental market, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

FMC Meditech has partnered with an exclusive radiology equipment provider who are blazing new trails across the UK healthcare market with their portfolio of medical imaging devices. The role

In this role, you’ll be highly valued for both your technical expertise and commercial acumen. As a Technical Sales Executive, you’ll stimulate new sales for our client’s dental equipment portfolio among existing clients across Ireland by successfully branding our client’s value in business proposals, as well as landing new business opportunities to exceed sales quota.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing the market to identify key dental suppliers
  • Developing sound, long-term relationships with key customers 
  • Resolving customer enquiries and complaints
  • Reporting on all activities within the region 
  • Learning the technical and methodological requirements of the product portfolio

The requirements
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience of dental equipment sales with strong knowledge of dental market trends, as well as:

  • Demonstrable strategic ability
  • High level of business intelligence and commercial acumen
  • Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to translate complex technical information into simple messages
  • Competent with Microsoft Office 
  • Entrepreneurial individual who is able to work of their own initiative
  • Charismatic, influential and engaging
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel
