Do you have an aptitude for building successful customer relationships? Our client is currently looking for a Technical Sales Administrator to join their sales team in Birmingham.

They pride themselves on delivering long-lasting solutions that provide healthcare professionals with the efficiency and support they need to provide exceptional levels of patient care. 

 

The role 

As a Technical Sales Administrator, you will deliver world-class customer service to a range of NHS Supply Chain Contacts. You’ll play a crucial role in connecting customers with relevant personnel across the business to ensure rapid responses to sales requests and achieve customer satisfaction. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Working as part of a close-knit commercial team 

  • Answering inbound calls directed to the Service/Support team 

  • Directing technical and service enquiries to Engineers 

  • Organising documentation including service contracts and device regulations 

  • Utilising CRM systems to manage customers and contacts 

  • Overseeing general administration tasks 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have a professional phone manner, as well as: 

  • Sales experience within the medical device industry, including CRM,  is desirable 

  • Experience in a business supplying the NHS with goods and services is a plus 

  • Highly analytical and detail-orientated 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and articulation skills 

  • Able to consolidate complex information into simple messages 

  • Organized and able to prioritize effectively 

  • Strong commercial awareness including negotiation skills 

  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team 

  • Positive and driven
