The role 

In the Engineer System test role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all systems meet the design, safety, and effectiveness requirements. This hands-on role will develop your skills in all areas of our clients product portfolio and enable you to gain confidence in setting up test environments, networking, and manipulating the software and hardware into fault conditions.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring the test plans and procedures are in place  

  • Developing and verifying the adequacy of test procedures 

  • Running approved tests, raising defect reports, and recording all test activities 

  • Attending the Test Facilities to develop a deeper understanding of the product  

  • Troubleshooting and solving configuration issues 

  • Analysing test results and attending process excellence meetings

The requirements 

You will have experience from a heavily regulated business environment with formal training in medical product safety, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, physics, or applicable technical/scientific discipline  

  • ISTQB Foundation Qualification (or equivalent) desirable 

  • Risk management, principles, and process knowledge including ISO 13485, IEC 60601 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills 

  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders  

  • Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office)  

  • Flexible and willing to travel internationally
