Our client is looking for a talented Strategic Programmes Director to join them and unify the team towards a programme of work. With the accelerated growth mid-market, you will work with the executive team to produce business strategies and support key change at an organisational level.

Following a huge investment in 2021, our client is accelerating its organic growth strategy to connect the construction supply chain through its Cloud Platform. They are addressing the pace of digitalisation and productivity issues and are providing solutions that go beyond functional and organisational boundaries.  

 
The role

As Strategic Programmes Director, you’ll play a key role in maximising Executive efficiency and productivity and providing support to the company’s Executive team. As a member of the Board, you’ll assist with major decisions and stand at the forefront of transformational projects (between 10-12). You will ensure that key deliverables are on track, highlight any risks and ensure mitigations are in place.  

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Driving our clients’ reporting structure and cycle 

  • Taking responsibility for the board pack and other critical business documents 

  • Driving resource allocation, productivity, and business efficiency projects 

  • Maximising the CEO’s effectiveness by ensuring productive interactions 

  • Attending monthly executive meetings to discuss KPI’s and team performance  

  • Being involved in the operating model and implementation  

  • Working with customers to make sure they are achieving their milestones 

  • Working on strategic communications and updates 

  • Gathering relevant stats and business information 

  • Reviewing strategic initiatives 

 

The requirements

You’ll have proven experience in a fast-paced business management role, with a focus on executive-level advising and cross-function collaboration, as well as:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field 

  • Track record of analysing data and producing reports and business insight  

  • A commercial mindset 

  • Experience with budget management and consulting is desirable  

  • Able to understand the route of a problem and happy to be hands on fixing this  

  • Excellent networking skills with a proven track record of building relationships  

  • Extremely adaptable and productive  

  • A team player with a strong focus on performance excellence  

  • Strong stakeholder management skills  

  • Results driven with a strong commercial understanding  

  • Outstanding attention to detail, organised and flexible  

  • Excellent programme management, planning and organisational skills 

  • High standard of professionalism  

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
