Are you highly motivated and target-driven? Our client, a market leader in the field of Healthcare sales, is currently looking for a talented Key Account Manager to join their team and up-sell service contracts to new and exciting clients across London and Essex. 

 

The company

Our client is a top 20 global medical device company who are pioneering the early detection and minimally invasive treatment of a vast range of healthcare issues. Focused on developing clinically advanced surgical instruments and solutions, our client is passionate about improving patient care in healthcare worldwide. 

 

The role 

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll utilise your advanced selling techniques and technical knowledge to secure new business with a range of healthcare professionals. You’ll meet regularly with clients to demonstrate the value of the product portfolio and uncover potential opportunities for products to solve customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction.  

 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining and developing existing hospital accounts 

  • Regularly forecasting sales opportunities within the territory 

  • Delivering support for new and existing customers  

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests 

  • Providing after-sales support 

  • Supplying feedback on market intelligence to product managers 

  • Actively participating in sales meetings and development opportunities 

  • Representing our client at exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have at least 3 years of Senior Territory Manager experience with a track record of success, as well as: 

  • Able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and expand existing ones where appropriate 

  • Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills 

  • An understanding of the hospital buying process and structures  

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

  • Able to communicate sales processes and strategies 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite) 

  • Self-motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic  

  • Able to be flexible and carry out a range of tasks within the scope of this role
