Job description

Our client is seeking a genuine and hardworking Strategic Account Manager to be an addition to their remote team across the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with seniority, relevant experience in the market as well as a well-developed love for sales and account management.

The role 
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will act as the spearhead across 6-8 strategic accounts, and be responsible for driving processes, mapping opportunities, and growing named accounts deep and wide. You will be well-versed in articulating a technical product portfolio and work closely with internal sales engineers, client engagement managers, delivery teams, product teams, and strategy teams, to create a long-lasting and successful business venture. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Building an understanding of where the accounts are going from a roadmap perspective 

  • Fostering customer satisfaction and maintaining regular contact 

  • Managing customer expectations 

  • Developing strong customer relationships 

  • Attending trade shows and similar events 

  • Providing education on our client’s product portfolio 

  • Delivering technical presentations, seminars, and workshops 

  • Maintaining and providing reports and statistics  

 
The requirements 

You’ll have significant experience in selling industrial products, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent  

  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices 

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills 

  • Comfortable with using your initiative 

  • Deep technical expertise 

  • Perceived cultural fit 

  • Able to see the bigger picture  

  • Hardworking 

  • Extensive understanding of our client’s value proposition 

  • A strong grasp of the competitive landscape 

This is a remote role across the US.
