The role

My client is seeking a dynamic individual based in the Houston area to join their U.S. sales team as a Strategic Account Manager focused on their software solutions for the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.

The requirements

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in solution selling on behalf of a software vendor
  • Experience of selling into the upstream oil and gas industry
  • Experience of effectively managing deals to ensure that they are fully authorized without exception or ambiguity
  • A passion for technology and how it can overcome business challenges
  • Be able to work autonomously and have the gravitas and desire to progress your career
  • A track record of sales success with experience of selling large value deals
