The role 

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will engage with existing clients and prospects across the UK, focusing on prospecting, account development, customer satisfaction and sales results.  
Other responsibilities include: 

  • Developing compelling messages to market 

  • Building and strengthening trust-based relationships with customers 

  • Setting account strategy and plans for all customers 

  • Achieving targeted sales goals 

  • Identifying new business opportunities  

  • Working collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing and R&D 

  • Presenting customer feedback on product features  

  • Updating information into the CRM system 

  • Building product knowledge to deliver value proposition to the customer  


The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years’ experience in account management and/or software sales, as well as: 

  • Degree level educated in Business or a relevant technical discipline 

  • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing selling strategies 

  • Passionate about technology 

  • Able to manage competing client demands  

  • Self-motivated, team orientated and committed to providing an excellent level of service  

  • Experience identifying new opportunities and closing deals  

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills 

  • Excellent English communication skills and presentation skills 

  • Have authorization to work in the UK 

  • Flexible and willing to travel 20%-40% across the UK and to Canada and the US
