Do you have a proven track record of sales success in the manufacturing sector? Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sr Sales Account Manager to join their team remotely across the UK, France, Germany, or the Netherlands and be responsible for winning new business and growing existing relationships with customers and projects across the region.

The role 

As a Sr Sales Account Manager, you’ll bring your selling experience and skills to this role by leading our client’s accounts and growth for strategic customers within the manufacturing sector including orders, sales, and profit. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Cold calling and prospecting to achieve pipeline goals 

  • Pro-actively driving sales campaigns to new logo customers 

  • Developing and expanding our client’s customer base 

  • Developing and updating the sales forecast 

  • Driving awareness via social media 

  • Creating and maintaining senior-level customer relationships 

  • Completing significant travel and face-to-face customer engagement  

 

The requirements

You’ll have experience in software sales, MES, and the manufacturing sector, as well as: 

  • Degree level educated, a degree in STEM is preferred  

  • Experience as a Direct Sales Representative or a similar role 

  • Understanding of Cloud, SaaS, and Digital 4.0 

  • Proven track record in sales  

  • Understanding of executing a sales campaign from business development to closure 

  • Experience in managing strategic customers 

  • Excellent business acumen and gravitas 

  • A fast learner and self-starter  

  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with C-level stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Fluent in English, an additional language would be beneficial
