Are you a hungry, motivated achiever and self-starter with the desire to learn? Our client is currently seeking a Southern Europe Account Manager to join their team in Spain.   


The company 

Our client provides software and IIoT services to industrial companies across four key industries, including power generation, manufacturing, oil & gas, and electric utilities & telecom. Driven by people, process, and proven technology they are innovating with their customers to make the complex simple.  

The role 

As a New Business Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating value-based software & service solutions in the asset intensive markets to ensure the attainment of revenue and growth targets in Southern Europe, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. You will identify sales opportunities with new and existing accounts, drive prospecting, strategy, and account planning assessments.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Driving and leading growth in services, software, and value-driven propositions 

  • Creating and developing an overall sales vision for the territory  

  • Making strategic recommendations when appropriate 

  • Identifying market trends via data analysis  

  • Negotiating with all client and internal stakeholders 

  • Identifying and prioritising critical resources to further the sales effort 


The requirements 

The successful candidate will have 4 years’ experience in a consultative software sales or management consulting role, as well as…  

  • Degree educated in business, science, engineering, or a relevant field 

  • Asset intensive industry knowledge 

  • Impeccable customer service skills 

  • Organised, analytical and creative 

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills   

  • Experience of value-based sales 

  • Enterprise software sales experience   

  • Able to quickly adopt new product solutions and methodologies  

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite) 

  • Results driven and hunter oriented  

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Fluent in Spanish. Portuguese and Italian languages are a plus 


You will ideally be located in Madrid or Barcelona.
