Our client is searching for a Solutions Marketing Manager to join their team in the US or UK. This is an excellent learning opportunity for a motivated, tech savvy, self-starter who is passionate about driving client outcomes for complex industrial applications.

FMC’s Digital Plant team are working in partnership with a unique and expert provider of simulation and modelling applications for the industrial markets including oil and gas, chemicals, utilities and more. Having grown quickly their solutions are already utilised by engineers in over 30 countries and by hundreds of leading engineering organisations to optimise process design. Their solutions are favoured by governments, researchers, students, and academic environments to solve complex chemistry challenges thanks to their reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness.

The role

As a Solutions Marketing Manager, you will craft compelling messages and create marketing and digital assets that communicate the unique value proposition of our clients’ solutions. You will design and implement awareness campaigns, clearly communicate their industry leading capabilities, and collaborate with colleagues to help grow and take our clients’ solutions to the market.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing marketing awareness and lead generation campaigns
  • Creating marketing content (presentations, brochures, case studies, digital assets)
  • Enabling sales teams to successfully position our clients’ solutions with content
  • Coordinating messaging and presence at industry conferences and events
  • Supporting the messaging and content development for the company website

The requirements

You’ll be an entrepreneurial, experienced marketing professional with exceptional solutions marketing skills and experience in industrial markets, as well as…

  • MBA or related degree in marketing or business management would be a plus
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in marketing, preferably with industrial process companies in oil & gas, chemicals, mining, power generation or water treatment segments
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with successfully designing and executing global marketing campaigns and marketing strategies with a strong focus on metrics and ROI
  • Track record in marketing software-based solutions, products, and technologies
  • Self-directed, highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Team-oriented, results driven and hyper organised
  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 10% of the time (includes some international travel)
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills (Microsoft office and CRM tools)
