The role

As Software Solutions Engineer you’ll work closely with our client’s customers, building full-stack software applications and developing creative solutions. Helping them to automate their complex processes, your work will be key to customers and you’ll build strong relationships with them to help you identify their business needs and deliver the right software solution for them.

You’ll be working on innovative, bespoke customer projects that are critical to supporting the sales process and configuring complex technology solutions. You’ll get to work with leading IIoT technologies and will be fully supported by hands-on experience and training with plenty of opportunities for learning and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing software solutions and applications for our client’s customers
• Identifying customer requirements and crafting solutions
• Leveraging real time data to solve customer enterprise problems
• Integrating software solutions into customer’s IT environments or cloud-based platforms
• Building full-stack software applications
• Supporting the sales team and their projects
• Ensuring on time and to quality delivery of software solutions
• Trouble-shooting software issues during and after implementation
• Developing best practices and automation tools
• Developing prototypes and demonstrations to support sales processes
• Experimenting with new software development techniques
• Coordinating with other teams to prepare installation plans

The requirements

You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience in a software development role. Other requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience working with C#F#, JavaScript and SPA frameworks
• Strong track record using data-drive system optimisation techniques
• Experience with relational databases
• Knowledge of building automated testing and debugging scripts
• Experience designing complex queries using SQL
• Able to write precise specifications
• Industry experience in manufacturing applications or location intelligence desirable
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Logical and analytical
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Able to travel in the US
