Job description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a leading global provider of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions based in the US. Due to their rapid growth and expansion in the North American market, they are seeking Software Sales Executives in all four major regions in the United States. Key cities include New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. Your focus will be on selling their suite of PLM and PPM applications and professional services to the food and beverage, specialty chemical and personal care markets.

The role

Your duties will include prospecting, opportunity development, proposal management, presentation/demonstrations, negotiation, closing and business expansion. Regular communication with management and team members on the status of sales opportunities, support requirements and sales strategy will be a necessary and key factor to your success.

The requirements

  • A minimum of 5 -10 years’ sales experience in an enterprise software sales environment.
  • Experience with the sale of high-value, complex manufacturing software solutions focused on PLM, PPM, Regulatory Management, ERP or EHS business process tools.
  • Success selling high-value software and professional implementation services implementation services.
  • Prior selling experience to CPG, Pharma, Food &Beverage, Cosmetics or chemical industries preferred
  • Strong track record of over-achievement of $2 million plus in annual quotas.
  • Excellent communication, collaborative, negotiation and closing skills.
