FMC Auto Innovation are supporting a leader in green aviation in their search for a Senior Research Engineer with a strong background in Safety (RM&S) Engineering to join their team and help shape the future of flight.
You will become an integral member of a team that is embarking on significant and challenging technology development projects. In this role, you’ll shape the RM&S from requirements, specification, development, and validation towards achieving greener aviation.
Other responsibilities include:
Managing the RM&S aspects of the systems
Defining reliability and maintainability requirements
Developing the Safety Plan of the products
Developing safety objectives
Ensuring safety requirements are achieved
Managing technical and business issues
Supporting the recruitment of the team
Generating technical reports and presentations
You’ll want to make a difference and become a future leader in what you do, as well as:
Degree Educated in Science or Engineering
Experience in writing safety plans and safety assessment of electrical programs
Experience in the development of FHA, FTA, FMEA, CCA etc
Experience in associate international standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to translate to a variety of audiences
Ability to identify operational requirements
A growing network in Aerospace or Technology areas
Experience in aircraft safety boards or MSG3 working groups
Experience in the development of fluid equipment
Experience in maintainability and safety verification
Experience in MBSE (e.g., SysML)
Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, or Simcenter
