They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Germany and manage software projects for their major accounts.

The role

As Project Manager you’ll deliver on multiple software projects from translating client needs to coordinating work structure and creating a portfolio of projects. You’ll be responsible for planning and managing these projects and will make sure these are delivered on time and to the highest standards, flawless delivery is your goal!

Responsibilities include:

• Translating client strategy into actionable projects
• Planning and managing multiple client projects
• Defining clear and robust project approach processes
• Leading on projects for a variety of customer accounts
• Deliver on projects on time and to budget
• Creating strategic account plans for major accounts
• Negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders
• Working with third parties to agree timescales and quality of deliverables
• Using and adapting project management methods and processes
• Acting as a lead change agent, able to channel resources effectively
• Developing best delivery practice
• Representing the company externally

The requirements

You’ll have a strong track record in a Project Management role with demonstrable success delivering software projects for multiple accounts.

Other requirements include:

• Strong commercial acumen
• Previous experience with project management of complex software
• Experience in the automotive industry desirable
• Awareness and experience of business operations and business strategy
• Able to manage multiple projects
• Previous experience planning and managing customer portfolios and projects
• Innovative and able to resolve challenges
• Track record of delivering projects to agreed budgets and timescales
• Experience using project management methodology such as Prince2, APMP, Scrum
• Experience with projects with an element of risk
• Background in team leadership
• Strong relationship building and management skills
• Confident communicating technically with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
