One of the UK’s most exciting, award-winning surgical robotics companies is looking for a Senior Market Strategist to join their team and develop go-to-market content and strategies to engage key audiences across the UK and Europe. 

The company 

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for minimally invasive surgery procedures. With a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business they are passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robots. Their robots will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.  

The role 

As Senior Market Strategist you’ll be committed to making a powerful impact on the business and the industry through digital product and channel marketing. You’ll be working closely with clinical staff and surgeons to understand how the robotic system performs in different surgical specialties and procedures, so our client is looking for someone with a strong clinical understanding ideally in a variety of surgical procedures. Using this knowledge, you’ll establish strong relationships with surgeons and other clinicians to drive produce marketing strategies. 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Championing our client’s surgical robotics system across the UK and Europe 

  • Identifying and assessing market, clinical and customer trends to influence marketing collateral  

  • Defining clear and robust project approach processes

  • Leading market research and development through data reviews 

  • Developing go-to-market strategies for specialty markets 

  • Creating business cases for product developments 

  • Working closely with product development teams 

  • Driving innovation and introducing new ideas 

  • Evaluating new technologies and technology licensing  


The requirements 

You’ll have significant experience in strategic upstream marketing, strong clinical knowledge in various areas of surgery and a good understanding of the sales process in medical devices. Other requirements include: 

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Strong track record in a marketing, product management, sales or clinical applications role 

  • Able to develop and implement product marketing strategies 

  • Comfortable working with data to develop market and product insights 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects

  • Detail orientated and analytical 

  • Demonstrable track record developing go-to-market strategies and content 

  • Comfortable working under pressure and to short deadlines 

  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance  

  • Able to travel across Europe (when permitted)
