Are you an experienced HR professional? Are you eager to make a real impact in your role? Our client is a world-renowned provider of innovative optical systems and is currently looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their HR team and support new system roll-out as well as other human resources activities.

The role

As a Senior HR Advisor you’ll make sure that HR services are delivered smoothly! You’ll be involved in attracting, developing, and retaining a talented workforce across the UK for both site-based and field-based roles.

Your core responsibility will revolve around supporting the introduced of a new HR Information System (Workday), so you will also be involved in the testing, training, and implementing of this system across the business.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Attracting and retaining talent to the business (site and field-based)
  • Supporting the effective implementation of a new HR Information System
  • Acting as the main point of contact for this new system
  • Participating in the testing of the HR system
  • Delivering training
  • Supporting on data gathering
  • Attending project meetings with other HR team members
  • Supporting the HR team with workforce planning
  • Learning and development activities
  • Supporting on employee relations
  • Delivering professional HR services across all business functions
  • Providing guidance and support to Line Managers on employee issues
  • Being knowledgeable and able to give advice on HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting local HR projects
  • Providing support and advice in relation to remuneration

 

The requirements

You’ll be an experienced HR professional who is CPD Level 5 qualified (minimum). Other requirements include…

  • Degree level education in a relevant discipline
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Eager to make an impact in a HR role
  • Proven experience of HR Information System roll-outs
  • Experience working in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Adaptable and able to work independently
  • Good at building relationships with internal stakeholders
