They are currently looking for an electronics expert to join their team as a Senior Electronics Engineer and work on the design of electronics systems for customer projects.

The role

As Senior Electronics Engineer you will work on the development of the entire lifecycle of our customers in-wheel motor products. You will be designing the electronics and ensuring they meet the requirements set out by internal and external customers. Delivering projects to time, quality and budget targets is your goal, and you’ll work with other internal teams to ensure customer projects are delivered to the very highest standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working within your team to ensure product delivery meets customer expectations
  • Full lifecycle design
  • Design of digital and analogue electronics
  • Sensor and sensor conditioning design and development
  • Ensuring on time and quality of products
  • Experimenting with new software design techniques
  • Working across the whole product development lifecycle
  • Driving activities around validation and verification
  • Writing design specifications and reports
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work in accordance to processes and safety requirements


The requirements

You’ll have a strong track record in an electronics engineering role, ideally in the automotive industry. Our client is looking for someone who is a forward-thinking professional and has experience executing and developing highly innovative software.


  • 2:1 or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Proven knowledge of simulation, design, and tests of electronic systems
  • Experience working with embedded processors, sensors, and interfacing electronics
  • Strong analysis skills and able to identify and rectify issues
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Standards
  • Familiarity with automotive legislation, standards, and guidelines
  • Experience in an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Familiarity with Infineon Aurix microprocessors and AUTOSAR desirable
  • Experience interfacing with high voltage power electronics desirable
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
