Are you a self-starter with high energy and the desire to grow, develop and stand out? Our client is looking for a Senior Channel Account Manager to join their dynamic and motivated team across the US. 

The company

FMC Smart Industry continue to support world leaders in software solutions for the energy and industrial market sectors. Our client is a leading software vendor providing solutions in Environmental Health & Safety, Operational Risk Management, and Chemical Risk Analysis. Their software allows their customers to achieve operational excellence to develop a safer, more sustainable, and more productive world. The product can serve a diverse number of sectors, from Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Speciality Chemicals, to Discrete Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Government and many more. 


The role 

As a Senior Channel Account Manager, you will drive strategic partner development initiatives as well as leading and growing existing partnerships for our client’s product portfolios. 

Other responsibilities include… 

  • Delivering on high impact account plans and presentations  

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities  

  • Leading and developing a Partner Engagement Model 

  • Implementing Partner Sales Plans 

  • Developing and managing existing Digital EHS partnerships  

  • Acting as our client’s key contact and executing plans across functional teams 

  • Owning the marketing efforts with the partnerships 

  • Building an understanding of our client's product portfolio and their value proposition 


The requirements 

You’ll have 5 years combined Consumer and B2B software experience at leading companies, as well as… 

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject  

  • 2+ years of experience within Channel or Partnership sales  

  • Business development and indirect sales experience in a SaaS market 

  • Proven experience of recruiting and managing Strategic Partners  

  • Demonstrable C level relationship building 

  • Able to manage multiple sales cycles and deal with any channel conflicts in a professional manner 

  • Able to create and manage pipeline and understand deal registration processes 

  • A self-starter with high energy and the desire to grow, develop and stand out 

  • Commercial acumen, hunter mentality  

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office and Salesforce) 

  • Willing and flexible to travel
