Job description

With significant growth plans across the EMEA, our client is now looking for a Senior Account Executive to join their team in Germany and manage an entire vertical across the territory. 


The company 

Our client is a leading company in the digital transformation space with customers across the world. They offer a comprehensive digital platform, which includes both cloud-based and on-premises solutions for their customers. The organisation’s solutions integrate with Oracle, SAP and other enterprise applications while incorporating advanced workflow processes for optimal efficiency and visibility.

The role 

As a Senior Account Executive, you will create vertical market strategies which are executed with support for the executive and marketing teams. You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding quota through net new sales growth and expansion of existing customers. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Utilising a consultative sales approach 

  • Understanding customers’ business pains and potential solutions 

  • Developing and managing a high volume of calls and leads 

  • Building a working knowledge of our clients’ product portfolio 

  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base 

  • Providing accurate forecasts and reports on sales activities 

  • Engaging with our clients’ resources as needed  


The requirements 

You’ll have 8+ years’ experience selling software ideally ERP, WMS or Supply Chain solutions, as well as: 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Experience selling to both new and existing customers 

  • Skilled at qualifying new opportunities  

  • Track record of achieving and exceeding quota 

  • Excellent influencing and organisational skills 

  • Assertive, positive attitude and a self-starter  

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Comfortable working in a team selling environment  

  • Working remotely from a home office  

  • Flexible and willing to travel for face-to-face customer meetings
