Do you have medical infusion experience and are looking for the next step in your career? We’re currently working with a global manufacturer of specialty medical devices who are looking for a Sales Trainer for Infusion to join their team in the UK and represent a portfolio of critical care devices across the EMEA division.

The role 

We are seeking a Sales Trainer to provide training and coaching to our client’s customer facing sales professionals to reduce the learning curve and help the organisation achieve its business goals. Your training will focus on the product, sales skills, sales management, and other sales effectiveness training.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Driving sales excellence of the global sales team by enhancing their knowledge, skills, and competencies 

  • Building product knowledge, sales skills, territory management and account planning skills 

  • Enhancing sales management effectiveness through coaching, planning, and forecasting 

  • Assessing market needs and modifying training to align to specific market conditions  

  • Conducting knowledge and performance assessments 

  • Providing training to effectively on-board new sales and marketing professionals 

  • Providing advance product training and NPI launch support  

  • Providing Train the Trainer courses to local and regional resources 

  • Writing post training reports that outline strengths and areas of improvement 

  • Continuously build product and sales force expertise through self-study and training courses? 

The requirements 

You’ll have knowledge of the medical devices industry as well as a background in sales, marketing training and development or nursing. Other requirements include:  

  • Degree educated in business or life sciences  

  • Proven experience of infusion (e.g., infusion devices, infusion disposables and/or infusion therapies)  

  • Significant prior experience in sales training, clinical education, L and D, or field sales 

  • Experience in training delivery and facilitation 

  • Knowledge of training principles and techniques  

  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office suite) 

  • Great communication skills both written and verbal  

  • Excellent English skills are required, along with native or near-native level of German, French, or Spanish 

  • Flexible and willing to travel (up to 50% in the EMEA region)  

You can work from home or, depending on your location, in their local office.
