Our client is a huge blue-chip organisation known across the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic world. They offer innovative products and services to improve patient and hospital outcomes. Their whole product portfolio helps patients lead more active and satisfying lives in over 100 countries around the world.

The role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for increasing sales for a product range dedicated to improving patient outcomes, with a focus on infection control and patient handling. You’ll join a team of talented sales individuals to develop a quality sales strategy that will drive new sales opportunities whilst sustaining and expanding existing business.

Other responsibilities include…

  • Delivering annual sales targets and KPIs
  • Building long term relationships with customers across the NHS and private sector
  • Conducting product demonstrations for clinical staff
  • Reporting on sales activities regularly
  • Maintaining and acquiring a new product, technology, and market knowledge
  • Supporting and collaborating with internal teams
  • Attending, organising, and participating in key local events


The requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably within the NHS, as well as…

  • Degree educated in Life Sciences, Biology, Marketing, Business or a related subject
  • Demonstrable success of growing a customer base in line with targets
  • High level of business intelligence and commercial acumen
  • Willingness to learn with a passion for technology
  • A natural relationship builder with a strong customer-focus
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office and CRM systems)
  • Strong presentation, organisation, and negotiation skills
  • A full Valid UK Driving Licence
