Do you have a passion for building long term relationships with customers and improving patient outcomes? Our client is searching for a high achieving Sales Representative to join their Medical Division across Yorkshire and the North East.  

 

The company 

Our client is a huge blue-chip organisation known across the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic world. They offer innovative products and services to improve patient and hospital outcomes including medical and surgical equipment, orthopaedics, neurotechnology, training and education. 

 
The role 
As a Sales Representative, you will support your customers across the North East region providing solution-based products that would in turn reduce infections, such as Wound and Pneumonia within hospitals. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships across Stakeholders in the region, but also identify new business opportunities and provide training to your customers.  

Due to the nature of this sales process, the successful individual can come from a variety of backgrounds, however, must be able to bring credible drive and enthusiasm to the position. You will work across different hospitals, within the ITU, with the view to influence clinicians with your product knowledge and drive behavioural changes.  

Other responsibilities include…  

  • Delivering annual sales targets and KPIs 

  • Conducting product demonstrations for clinical staff  

  • Reporting on sales activities regularly  

  • Maintaining and acquiring new product, technology, and market knowledge  

  • Supporting and collaborating with internal teams  

  • Attending, organising, and participating in key local events  

 

The requirements 

You will have a track record in sales as well as… 

  • Degree educated in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related subject 

  • Experience in customer acquisition  

  • A commercial sales background 

  • A passion for technology 

  • Strong presentation, organisation, and negotiation skills  

  • A strategic thinker, service oriented, decisive, and assertive  

  • Committed to excellent customer service  

  • Excellent English communication skills  

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office)  

  • Ideally located on or close to this territory  

  • A full, Valid UK Driving Licence to cover your territory where appropriate 
     

This role field-based across the North East including, Sheffield, Leeds, Hull, York, Sunderland, and Newcastle. Flexibility with hours and travel is key.
