We’re currently working with an leading medical technology business who are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join their team in the Netherlands and sell a portfolio of surgical technologies.

They develop a wide variety of innovative products across a range of therapies, including Surgical, Orthopaedics, Neuro and Spinal. They are dedicated to achieving the very best in patient and hospital outcomes with a focus on performance and safety, and their products are used in clinical settings around the world.

 

The role

As a Sales Representative you’ll work with an innovative portfolio of surgical technologies. You’ll join the client’s mission to improve healthcare worldwide and will promote their world class portfolio of products. You’ll be meeting with a variety of stakeholders in clinical and trade show environments to demonstrate and pitch the products as well as providing after-sales support. Building powerful relationships is key to this role as the customer is at the heart of what you’ll be doing day to day!

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling a range of surgical technologies across the territory
  • Creating and delivering business plans
  • Conducting product demonstrations
  • Providing education and support to customers
  • Developing strong clinical product knowledge
  • Managing contracts in your territory
  • Assessing market potential and identifying opportunities
  • Providing a fantastic customer experience
  • Managing your inventory of sample products
  • Providing support in theatre environments when required
  • Attending trade shows/conferences when required

 

 

The requirements

You’ll live in the South of the Netherlands and be able to travel within the territory, as well as having a strong track record in sales (preferably in the medical devices industry). Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in marketing, lifesciences, pharmaceutical, business, engineering, or a related field)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales
  • Knowledge of the medical devices/surgical space
  • Comfortable in clinical and theatre environments
  • Excellent relationship building skills with a variety of stakeholders
  • A strong communicator (written and verbal)
  • Dedicated and results-driven
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Passionate about improving healthcare worldwide
  • Native Dutch language skills and fluency in English
  • Computer literacy skills (including MS Office)
  • Full Netherlands driving licence
