We’re currently working with a leading medical technology business who are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join their team in the Netherlands and sell their joint replacement portfolio.

The role

As a Sales Representative you’ll work with an innovative joint replacement portfolio, joining the client’s mission to improve healthcare worldwide and will promote their world class portfolio of products. This product line focuses on hips and knees and within this role you’ll be an expert on the portfolio, allowing you to educate surgeons and theatre staff on how to get the most out of their products.

You’ll be meeting with a variety of stakeholders in clinical and trade show environments to demonstrate and pitch the products as well as providing after-sales support. Building powerful relationships is key to this role as the customer is at the heart of what you’ll be doing day to day!

Responsibilities include:

• Selling the joint replacement portfolio across the territory
• Creating and delivering business plans
• Conducting product demonstrations
• Providing education and support to customers
• Developing strong clinical product knowledge
• Managing contracts in your territory
• Assessing market potential and identifying opportunities
• Providing customer care for physicians and theatre staff
• Providing a fantastic customer experience
• Managing your inventory of sample products
• Providing support in theatre environments when required
• Attending trade shows/conferences when required

The requirements

You’ll live in the South East of the Netherlands and be able to travel within the territory, as well as having a strong track record in sales (preferably in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industries). Other requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in a medical or related field)
• At least 2 years’ experience in sales in the medical technology space
• Knowledge of the medical devices/surgical space
• Comfortable in clinical and theatre environments
• Excellent relationship building skills with a variety of stakeholders
• A strong communicator (written and verbal)
• Dedicated and results-driven
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Passionate about improving healthcare worldwide
• Native Dutch language skills and fluency in English
• Computer literacy skills (including MS Office)
• Full Netherlands driving licence
