Job description

Our client, a leading provider of enterprise cloud-based solutions, is seeking an ambitious Sales Operations Leader to join their team as they enter the next phase of growth. This is a highly visible, measurable, and impactful position, where you will influence and interact within a dynamic and well-funded business with ambitious growth plans.  

 

The role 

The Sales Operations Leader is responsible for driving sales growth, improving efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction through the design and optimisation of new sales processes and management. You will bring your strong understanding of software sales to the role as well as the ability to develop and implement best practices to support the wider sales team.  
Other responsibilities include…

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies and procedures

  • Conducting reviews of existing CRM system 

  • Driving user adoption 

  • Improving analytics and reporting and presenting these to board level 

  • Overseeing the sales pipeline and providing insights to senior management 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional tams such as marketing, product and finance 

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

 

The requirements 

You’ll have a proven track record of leading innovation as a Sales Operations Leader, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is desirable 

  • Experience working for a SaaS or technology vendor 

  • Knowledge of best practice sales operation methodologies  

  • Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting tools and sales productivity software 

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sales operations team 

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to thrive in an (initially) standalone role with many conflicting priorities  

  • Comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels and challenging the status quo  

  • Exposure to board level reporting 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Highly engaging and an individual that excels in a business that is evolving 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
