The company

Our client is a well-respected medical device company who are passionate about improving patient care and saving lives. They produce innovative, high-quality medical devices and services across a variety of markets in the medical technology space that are used in hospital departments around the world. These products are used within ICU, acute and long-term therapy departments within the NHS consisting of disposable consumable products within vascular access.


The role

Within this role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and directing the sales team across Denmark, setting success criteria, forecasting, achieving goals and sticking to a budget. You will define and manage a clear strategic direction and ensure territory plans align to the rest of the business. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a clear strategic direction  

  • Close customer relationships, product, competitor, and market knowledge 

  • Identifying market opportunities for existing products 

  • Driving and delivering the required sales growth year on year in the market 

  • Implementing key product initiatives to drive sales and increase growth 

  • Working with the Finance and Human Resources Business Partners 

  • Monitoring and reviewing business performance  


The requirements

You will have 7+ years of professional sales experience in the medical device industry, as well as…

  • Degree-level educated in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field 

  • Track record for sales growth and new business development 

  • Previous management or project leadership experience 

  • Deep domain knowledge of the technologies 

  • Entrepreneurial in approach to the sales leadership role 

  • Strategic thinker 

  • Comfortable in fast-changing environments  

  • Very effective negotiator and dynamic speaker  

  • Danish and English language skills (both fluent)  

  • Computer literate (MS Office)  

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel 

  • Located in Denmark
