Job description

Our client is currently looking for a Sales Lead to become a remote member of their North American sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest in technology and has an impact on the industrial future.

This globally recognised brand is renowned for its powerful IoT platform that connects assets and monitors performance across the entire factory floor, enabling customers across multiple sectors to boost the efficiency of their operations. Having recently completed a successful round of funding, they are now entering an exciting period of growth with expansion across the UK, European and North American markets. 


The role 

As a Sales Lead, you’ll focus on qualifying new sales opportunities with key industry decision-makers by demonstrating the value of digital transformation and showcasing our client’s IoT and AI services. You’ll establish influential relationships amongst leaders in the industrial and commercial products space, building a comprehensive understanding of their business requirements to position our client’s products as effective solutions. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Hitting and exceeding revenue targets 

  • Developing long-term partnerships with senior customers 

  • Delivering customer satisfaction by putting strategies and processes in place to meet customer needs 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 

  • Participating in regular customer meetings, in both virtual and live settings, to provide an exceptional level of customer responsiveness 

  • Collaborating with the wider business to showcase the company’s products and solutions 

  • Maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and expertise 

  • Promoting a results-orientated culture 


The requirements 

You’ll have strong knowledge of IoT and M2M solutions, MES and Automation solutions or Augmented Reality, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent 

  • Experience in the discrete manufacturing industry and/or MRO Service Providers 

  • Proven track record of sales success 

  • Strong proficiency in sales tools (including Linked Sales Navigator) 

  • Excellent organisational and decision-making skills 

  • Strong commercial awareness including negotiation skills 

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team 

  • Fluent in English and Spanish 

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Results-orientated and driven
