Job description

A UK based provider of integrated software solutions to the oil and gas, power and utility industries is looking for a hungry and passionate salesperson to join their team in Aberdeen.

Their specialist portfolio comprises of operational logging, reporting and action tracking tools using the latest technologies from big vendors such as SAP or IBM, but also other specialist ones such as OSIsoft. These operational information systems produce real time ready?to?use business intelligence which enable large multinational companies to analyse, understand and respond to key business decisions.

Representing my client, you will be providing the means for internationally renowned
organisations to manage their business activities more effectively and to better serve our world.

The role

This will be someone responsible for maintaining and expanding accounts whilst generating new business opportunities. Ultimately you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with clients including world’s biggest oil, chemicals and energy providers to drive their business outcomes with best in class software, implementation and product support.  

You will be part of a small but close-knit team and you will enjoy a varied role including sales, CRM administration and product demos. The role will be based from my client’s Aberdeen office and will be predominately office-based, but at times you will be visiting customers based in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Put simply, this is a great opportunity for an individual that is ready for their next challenge and seeking to develop multiple skills a graduate interested in this subject area, who is also seeking a career in sales. My client is really looking for someone to grow with the business and offers great support and training in respect to technology and sales techniques.
