Do you have extensive experience of selling SaaS solutions to discrete manufacturing industry and/or MRO Service Providers? Our client is currently looking for a Sales Executive with a network of industry contacts to accelerate sales expansion across North America. 

The company 
FMC continues to support leaders of the Industry 4.0 revolution. This globally recognised brand is renowned for its powerful IoT platform that connects assets and monitors performance across the entire factory floor, enabling customers across multiple sectors to boost the efficiency of their operations. Having recently completed a successful round of funding, they are now entering an exciting period of growth with expansion across the UK, European and North American markets. 

The role 
As a Sales Executive, you’ll liaise with senior industrial and commercial customers to extend the existing strategic relationship and drive expansion in key accounts. As a new business hunter, you’ll own sales projects and work off your own initiative to implement strategies that will generate a wealth of new leads and kickstart sales processes. You’ll deliver an exceptional level of customer satisfaction, showcasing the value of digital transformation to meet customer business needs.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Hitting and exceeding revenue targets 
  • Proposing solutions linked with customer strategy 
  • Participating in regular customer meetings, in both virtual and live settings, to provide an exceptional level of customer responsiveness 
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 
  • Collaborating with the wider business to showcase the company’s products and solutions 
  • Maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and expertise 
  • Promoting a results-orientated cultures 

The requirements 
You’ll have extensive (10+ year’s) experience of selling SaaS software to customers in the Manufacturing space, from shop floor to C-suite, as well as:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of IoT and M2M solutions, MES and Automation solutions or Augmented Reality
  • Demonstrable track record of sales expansion 
  • Able to thrive in a start-up environment
  • Strong proficiency in sales tools (including Linked Sales Navigator) 
  • Excellent organisational and decision-making skills 
  • Strong commercial awareness including negotiation skills 
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Hungry, results-orientated and driven
