Do you have a strong track record in software sales with experience selling to the energy industry? A globally recognised software organisation who focus on digital twin technologies is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in the USA and be responsible for sales processes and growing their customer base. 


The company 

Our client is a simulation software provider who are recognised globally for their ground-breaking work with digital twin technology. They are a digital transformation company who are committed and focused on protecting the worlds critical energy infrastructure via cutting edge simulation software solutions, helping asset intensive industries leverage digital technology to drive safety and efficiency. 
Their revolutionary technology can be used across the energy value chain, from upstream O&G to renewables. Some recent success they have had is with the full life-cycle management of wind turbines, from design to end of life and dismantlement. This mechanical engineering simulation software will streamline and accelerate offshore wind for the future. 


The role 

Due to their growth plans, our client is looking for a talented self-motivated Sales Executive to join their team in the US. In this role you’ll be responsible for consultative sales activities across the territory, with the aim of growing the customer base. This is a highly visible role in a company which offers a progressive environment which focuses on your development working alongside a leading proposition. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing sales activities 

  • Evaluate customer needs to provide solutions 

  • Working with internal teams to deliver outstanding service to clients 

  • Mapping account opportunities to deliver a sales pipeline 

  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and accounts 


The requirements 

You’ll have a strong track record winning new business for a software provider, with experience selling to the energy markets. Other requirements include: 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Hunter mentality with the ability to work autonomously 

  • Able to engage with stakeholders at all levels including C-level 

  • Experience selling software solutions to the energy and related industries 

  • Strategic and value-based sales experience 

  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial 

  • Experience in a start-up backed operation desirable 

  • Understanding of full sales processes 

  • Able to form meaningful relationships with key accounts and customers 

  • Able to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines
