FMC is supporting a Global provider of engineering, consulting, and software services to the Oil and Gas and Energy industries. They are seeking a Sales Executive to support and further develop the organisation’s market share within the sales territory across the UK.

Our client has been combining cutting-edge technology with consulting expertise to guide Oil and Gas companies to greater heights, even during times of economic uncertainty, environmental pressure and increasing geopolitical issues. The organisation has experienced rapid growth in recent years and has historically been very successful based on market reputation and existing client contacts. They are now increasingly embedding a new business mentality which is generating additional business from both existing and new logo clients. 

The role 

As Sales Executive, you will develop and expand our clients’ sales and market share within EMEA. You will be responsible for promoting our clients’ offerings to maximise revenue potential, monitoring opportunities for broader solutions and provide feedback as well as producing high-quality and accurate documentation and support to other sales representatives worldwide. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing a thorough understanding of our clients solutions portfolio  

  • Managing strong, professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Coordinating all client business development activities 

  • Maintaining an updated client account plan 

  • Presenting to clients and interpreting their business needs 

  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals, commercial terms, and contracts  

  • Accurately maintaining sales CRM with realistic estimates  

The requirements 

You’ll have industry experience in a commercial role preferably within in a process industries setting, as well as:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline   

  • Experience working in an international context 

  • Able to thrive in a client facing role and proactively manage client relationships 

  • Prior experience in the development of new leads, opportunities, and sales 

  • Strategic, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure  

  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and analytical skills 

  • Professional attitude and projection of company image  

  • Able to work as a team player and work collaboratively with various teams in the business 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Flexible and willing to travel internationally and domestically
