The role

Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and execute sales strategies to maximise value and meet revenue targets. This role will be responsible for the full sales cycle, including development and maintenance of a large deal pipeline, resource allocation, proposal management, and deal closure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

  • Working with the sales and operations teams in achieving sales goals

  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Supporting the sales process from business development through to negotiation

  • Deliver on projects on time and to budget

  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the customers business

The requirements

Our client is looking for a top salesperson with extensive experience selling data solutions, as well as:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline

  • Exceptional knowledge of company’s product portfolio

  • Knowledge and experience of selling a solution aligned to PLM, MDM, or PIM software

  • Experience with Cloud environments like Azure, AWS, Docker, OpenShift etc.

  • Technical and consultative background

  • Clear understanding of the manufacturing sector

  • Proven track record in closing large deals and overachieving on targets

  • Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of stakeholder

  • Positive, motivated, and driven by finding new business opportunities

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong team-working ability

  • High energy and hunter mentality

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Able to travel across the territory (when permitted)

This role is available in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Indiana.
