The role

As Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities in both new and existing accounts. Relationships are key to this role, you’ll be building long-lasting, meaningful relationships with customers to identify their unique needs and identify the right solutions for them.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Acquiring large opportunities in new and existing customers 

  • Working closely with other sales teams, technical consultants, and customers  

  • Building a profound understanding of customer needs and requirements 

  • Creating long term, personal relationships with all customer accounts 

  • Analysing market data to identify trends and opportunities 

  • Developing strategic direction from market information into presentations 

  • Providing monthly sales reports on leads 

  • Creating a network between sales and Business Development and sharing best practise 

  • Doing internal and external events to grow the business short and mid term 

 

The requirements

5+ years proven track record of rapidly positioning, developing, and growing large, multisite enterprise software and services deals. Other requirements include:

  • Degree level educated in an industrial engineering role  

  • Strong professional sales experience in complex, solution selling 

  • Able to quickly establish and maintain customer relationships at C-level 

  • Understanding of Industry 4.0, IIoT, Cloud computing and SaaS 

  • Strong skills in contract negotiations and contract closing 

  • Fluent in English and German  

  • Flexible and willingness to travel (approximately 60%)
