Job description

Our client is looking for a highly energetic salesperson to strengthen their team and contribute to their growth plan across the Nordics and Baltics. The ideal candidate will have T&D experience, preferably within Asset Management/Operations & Maintenance.

Supporting some of the largest and most progressive utilities globally, our client is a leading provider of AI-powered solutions covering the inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure. Their software solution revolutionises the operation of Power Utilities and the transmission and distribution networks. For the past ten years, our client has grown rapidly and currently consists of almost 110 employees with offices in Norway, Denmark, the UK, and US.  

 
The role

As a Sales Engineer, you will deliver product demonstrations to prospects and provide an explanation of key technical aspects of the solution, you will ensure they are specific to the prospects’ needs, goals, and unique scenario. You will act as the technical product manager for coordinating internal resources and work with internal resources to ascertain feasibility and fit from a technical perspective.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Building a deep level of product knowledge  

  • Preparing land and expand strategy on the individual customer  

  • Preparing full-service pilots to guarantee the best results for further expansion 

  • Remaining close to product Pilots to optimise changes  

  • Supporting and training the sales team on new product features  

  • Preparing custom quotes, statements of work, and pricing when needed 

  • Participating in discussions with prospects regarding the competitive landscape 

 

The requirements

You’ll have 3+ years of professional experience of which preferably 2+ years are in SaaS sales and 1+ years are in Power and Utility sector, as well as: 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant technical discipline

  • Experience in closing large deals in the €300K+ range

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Industry experience, ideally dealt with Power or Utilities  

  • Technology experience, specifically AI, SaaS, Cloud or Geospatial  

  • Experience at a fast-moving, start-up company

  • Able to skilfully answer product-related questions 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
