Our client is a leading manufacturer of testing solutions across a huge range of industries and is currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team in Poland and grow business in the region.

They produce specialist testing machines to test the properties of materials and components in different environments. Their mission is to provide their customers with expert support and world-class service.

The role

As a Sales Engineer you’ll be selling our client’s range of solutions to both new and existing customers across Poland. You’ll meet with key stakeholders to identify business needs, propose solutions, and demonstrate products with a focus on implementing a consultative sales approach. The ultimate aim of this role is to grow our client’s market share across Poland and achieve their growth aims over the next few years.

Responsibilities include:

• Selling our client’s products and solutions to new and existing customers across Poland
• Assessing customer needs and proposing solutions
• Achieving and exceeding sales and growth targets
• Demonstrating and presenting the product portfolio
• Identifying and qualifying leads and new business opportunities
• Maintaining a CRM database
• Mapping the market to grow sales
• Working with the team in Poland to develop a strategic sales plan for the region
• Executing account and market plans
• Conducting product workshops and promotional activities
• Producing quotations and other documentation
• Influencing customers using expert market knowledge
• Driving the very best in customer service

The requirements

You will have a strong track record in a consultative sales role working with complex, technical capital equipment. Other requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline (or substantial relevant experience)
• Experience working in a technical sales environment
• Demonstrable track record selling complex capital equipment
• Experience supplying products to the automotive industry
• Knowledge of the automotive supply chain
• Experience planning and implementing sales strategies
• Strong consultative selling skills
• Sales team management skills
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen
• Experience with remote and in-person product demonstrations
• Able to identify and meet customer needs
• Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
• Organised and analytical
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Good English language skills
